Welcome to the Shropshire Business Awards 2011

The Shropshire Chamber of Commerce are proud once again to present the best of Shropshire’s business at the 2011 Shropshire Business Awards. As usual we are planning a fabulous event, great food, entertainment and a special guest speaker.

The theme of this year’s event is ‘Localism’ reflecting part of the strategy behind the Coalition Government's 'Big Society' agenda. But what does this mean for Shropshire businesses? Localism is all about supporting one another, businesses and communities helping each other, sourcing locally wherever possible, being involved in collaborative projects with communities, schools and neighbourhoods, driving success in Shropshire.

The Awards

The awards are open to all business in Shropshire, any size, any type of business, start-ups and of course, previous winners!  You don’t need to be a member of the Chamber of Commerce or any other organisation.  There are ten awards this year, including four new categories – so why not give it go?  Winning can be a real boost for you and your employees and your business.

The Awards Dinner

Often considered one of the best nights on the Shropshire business calendar – tables this year are named after towns and villages in Shropshire, supporting the ‘local’ celebration.  Tickets are available online here at just £80 per person.
